The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation's Young Farmer Program is for active agriculturists between the ages of 18 and 35 who are involved in production, ag business, and many other areas of agriculture.The Young Farmer Program provides leadership and skills development opportunities, along with the chance for young farmers to meet and network with other young farmers.

Leadership Opportunities
Young farmers involved in agriculture have the opportunity to serve in various Farm Bureau leadership capacities. By being involved in Farm Bureau, young farmers stay informed of the issue facing agriculture, how Farm Bureau is involved in representing producers. These leadership opportunities include:

  • County Farm Bureau board of directors
  • County Farm Bureau presidents
  • County Farm Bureau local affairs coordinator
  • County Ag in the Classroom coordinator
  • State Farm Bureau issue advisory committees
  • State Young Farmer's Committee
  • State Young Farmer's Committee
  • State Farm Bureau board of directors

Rural Mutual Insurance Offers Sponsorship for Young Farmers
Rural Mutual Insurance Company is offering to pay for the registration and two nights lodging for 100 young farmers to be new attendees at the Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation Young Farmer Conference..

Young Farmer Getaway Conference
The getaway conference is an opportunity for young farmers to spend the weekend away from the farm and socialize and gain information to benefit their farms and families. More than 100 young farmers attend the conference.
